Posez-le sur une échelle à l'intérieur du bain. ![absorption](https://pros.techo-bloc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/absorption.jpg?width=559&name=absorption.jpg) **ÉTAPE 4**: Prenez note du nouveau poids. À mesure que l'eau s'infiltre dans le bloc, elle devient plus lourde. La différence entre le poids d'origine et le poids du bloc une fois immergé dans l'eau nous aide à déterminer son taux d'absorption. La spécification de l'industrie est  de 5% d'absorption. ## **Durabilité**   Le test de durabilité au gel-dégel ASTM C1262 couvre la résistance au gel et au dégel des éléments de murs de soutènement segmentaires coulés à sec (voir ASTM C1372). Nous avons testé notre bloc G-Force dans une solution saline à 3% pour évaluer également sa résistance aux sels de déglaçage. Voici les étapes :  **ÉTAPE 1** : Plongez le bloc dans un récipient rempli d'une solution saline à 3%. **ÉTAPE 2** : Mettez le récipient dans un congélateur réglé à -5 ° F (-20 ° C) pendant quelques heures. Ensuite, augmentez progressivement la température, au-dessus du point de congélation, pour la décongeler.  **ÉTAPE 3** : Répétez ce cycle 100 fois. **ÉTAPE 4** : Le technicien de laboratoire calculera la masse perdue au cours de ce processus. La masse est perdue en raison de l'expansion et de la contraction du béton imbibé d'eau. La masse perdue ne doit pas dépasser 1% sur cinq éprouvettes individuelles après 100 cycles. Notre bloc a bien performé dans ces conditions, prouvant sa résistance aux cycles de gel-dégel et aux sels de voirie. Cette performance contribue à sa durabilité et son esthétique à long terme. ![ft](https://pros.techo-bloc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/ft.jpg?width=561&name=ft.jpg) ## **Extraction de grille**   Cette méthode de test est utilisée pour déterminer les propriétés de connexion entre une couche de renfort géosynthétique et des blocs de murs de soutènement segmentaires. Il permet de mesurer la force de connexion du système sous différentes charges. Voici comment c'est fait : **ÉTAPE 1** : Insérez les unités dans la machine et remplissez les vides des blocs avec de la pierre, comme elle serait installée sur le terrain. **ÉTAPE 2** : Ajoutez une grille de géotextile entre les rangées de blocs. **ÉTAPE 3** : Réglez les vérins hydrauliques. Une fois activés, ils simulent une charge de hauteur de mur, au lieu d'empiler plus de blocs au-dessus des unités. ![hydraulic cylinders](https://pros.techo-bloc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/hydraulic%20cylinders.jpg?width=559&name=hydraulic%20cylinders.jpg) **ÉTAPE 4** : La machine tire la grille entre les unités. ![pullout](https://pros.techo-bloc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/pullout.jpg?width=561&name=pullout.jpg) The connection strength is measured as the grid is pulled out under various loads. This data helps us design SRW systems correctly and safely. La force de connexion est mesurée lorsque la grille est tirée sous diverses charges.
