How to Lay Pavers – Feeding, Fronting & Laying Method

Watch a few tricks on how to lay pavers as efficiently as possible.

In order to save time and money, the materials must be placed at a proper location so they can be easily accessed during construction.

A good staging of materials increases efficiency and productivity. The workers are less tired, the risk of injuries diminishes and it takes less time to complete a job.

When it’s time to lay the pavers, we suggest a method of feeding, fronting and laying. It limits movement to maximize speed and efficiency.

Here’s how we describe it.

STEP 1 – Feeding: Workers grab pavers from the pallet and they deposit them near the workers who are fronting.

STEP 2 – Fronting: The workers who play this part bring the pavers closer to the crewmen who are laying, so they don’t have to turn around.

STEP 3 – Laying: These crewmen keep up the same speed of the other crew members as they are laying.
